I got served with a copyright infringement notice for some of the music I've posted here, so I took the site down until I could go back and delete old posts that had other people's songs. Google's pretty strict I think and I don't want my Blogger account terminated.

I don't think I want to blog about my life anymore. Back to just music.

Last night didn't go as planned. I guess we didn't realize that 16 22-minute sets would add up to a really long night. They pulled names out of a hat and about 7 or 8 DJs got to play. Sadly, Hoodie was not one of them.

DJ Hoodie returns

Tomorrow night, Hoodie's playing a short set at a new monthly at The Barbary called Fight Club. They've got a cool idea for this show - a lot of DJs get together to play whatever songs they're feeling for each other. Everybody gets a 30 minute set and names are randomly drawn to determine the order. Also, when a DJ's called, he has go to the bar and do a beer bong of PBR and a shot of whiskey.

Tuesdays are only for the most committed, but they needed to pick a throw-away night cause this party's such an experiment. Right now I think there's 16 DJs signed up from NYC, DC, and Philly, and Hoodie's gonna play some of the new songs.

I just downloaded 3 GB of new instruments and 5 GB of DJ Tiesto. This is good.

I love when you're listening to a song and zone out or don't pay attention for a second but then all of a sudden you're like whoa, when did this song start sounding like this? And then going back and playing it again to actually listen.

I spent the last week avoiding having to study by working on sequencing.
